Guillermo 'N' was linked to a process by a federal judge in a hearing that took place 6 days after the detention of 'Billy' Álvarez in a property in Mexico City, after having been on the run for more than four years. The judge ordered preventive detention against 'Billy' Álvarez, accused of organized crime and other offenses. A period of four months was also set for a complementary investigation, according to Quadratín.
For his part, 'Billy' Álvarez was detained after a warrant for arrest was issued by a federal judge in Mexico City, confirmed by the management of Club Cruz Azul. Guillermo 'N' is being held in the Altiplano prison in Almoloya de Juárez, in the State of Mexico, following the decision of the judicial authorities.
Regarding the accusations against 'Billy' Álvarez, former executive of Cruz Azul, in 2020 the Financial Intelligence Unit (UIF) of Mexico City conducted an investigation where the Attorney General's Office detected irregularities amounting to 114 million pesos during his management within the board of 'La Máquina'. The judicial authorities determined a presumed responsibility of Guillermo 'N' in crimes such as tax fraud, money laundering, and organized crime.
